Szymon Ratajczyk was born in Kalisz, Poland. He is an Alumni of the Adam Asnyk High School, the No. 1 secondary school in Kalisz. He completed his Master's Degree in Law at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He has been involved in photography for over a decade, primarily focusing on concert, portrait and fashion photography. He has several author's credits for multiple photographic projects and fashion publications. His work is often used by Polish and foreign jazz musicians. He is a multiple finalist of the Marek Karewicz Jazz Photography Competition - MK Jazz Foto, also, a Minister of Culture and National Heritage scholarship holder.
